Lord, help me to be a peacemaker.

When people don’t show respect, 

Help me to show them Your love.

When people are hurt by others actions, 

Help me to show them Your forgiveness.

When people don’t trust in You,

Help me to show them that You are always there.

When people are made to feel lost and alone,

Help me to brighten their day.

When the world is dark,

Help me to be Your light.

When people are sad and lonely,

Help me to bring joy into their lives.

Jesus, please help me to look after others,

To understand how they feel, to love them like You love me.

Help me to be generous to others with my time and talent.

Teach me to forgive without counting the costs.
